Life insurance may be more affordable than that morning latte or a round on the links

While you don’t hesitate to drop $5 on a gourmet cup of coffee or to take a spin around the links in a golf cart, you may argue that you can’t afford to purchase life insurance for yourself or your family members. And it’s true that purse strings are tightening in the current economy.
But the fact is, nearly a third of consumers believe they need more life insurance. According to last year’s Insurance Barometer Study conducted by LIMRA and the LIFE Foundation, Americans also consistently overestimate the cost of life insurance protection, believing it’s too expensive and putting off the purchase.
Life insurance is the foundation of your financial planning. Each year, the death of a breadwinner impacts millions of families. This puts families and their homes, jobs and hopes for a future in jeopardy. How would your family manage if something happened to you?
Don’t worry, we’re not going to tell you to completely cut that morning pick-me-up or stop playing golf on those beautiful spring days. We aren’t even going to encourage you to cut your cable. But check out the true costs of different types of life insurance from Modern Woodmen of America. The protection your family needs is worth a second look.
