What is perfect retirement living? Everybody has their own answer to this question and that’s why there are different retirement homes. Each of these homes offer relaxed living designed to relieve the stresses of owning a home. No more shoveling snow, mowing the grass, or worrying about leaking pipes. Meals are cooked to perfection and no more eating alone.
Remember the old neighborhoods where the neighbors looked out for each other? Well, those neighborhoods still exist today; they’re called retirement homes. Today’s retirement homes are self-contained neighborhoods where friends look out for each other all in the safety of a retirement community. You can have the freedom of shopping, going to movies or just playing a friendly game with other residents who share in conversations and friendships. And you have the piece of mind knowing that if you do need help, it’s only a short distance away.
Healthy Cells Magazine is proud to announce the 3rd annual Senior Living Tour. This year’s tour will start at CASI where you’ll meet your future neighbors and board a luxurious charter coach. For the rest of the day, you’ll have the opportunity to tour up to five of the area’s retirement homes in a relaxed, fun atmosphere. You’ll discover what makes each retirement home unique and, hopefully, you’ll find the one that’s perfect for you.
Enjoying the Senior Living Tour is simply that: enjoyment. Arriving as a group, there is no pressure to make a decision, and no individualized sales pitch. Attendees are urged to explore, ask questions, interact with staff and residents, and otherwise leisurely acquaint themselves with some of the best retirement communities the Quad Cities area has to offer.
Change is never easy and making a decision about where to call home can sometimes be overwhelming. By joining us on the Senior Living Tour, you’ll be given the tools and knowledge needed to find the perfect place that fits your particular needs. Choosing where to spend your retirement years is no small decision, and the more exposure and familiarity a person can get with the many options available, the more secure you’ll feel in your choice.
Feel free to bring your family with you on the Senior Living Tour, so they can also ask questions and share in the adventure. This can be a fun fact-finding mission and, at the end of the day, you’ll be armed with enough information to decide which community best fit your personal needs.
Seating is limited to the first 100 people on the tour and each year we run out of seats. The cost to attend is only $5 per person. To reserve your spot on this year’s Senior Living Tour, mail your check payable to: Cammie Gray, 24 Parklane Circle, Bettendorf, IA, 52722 and include your name, address, phone number.
