Working with the community... for a healthier community.

Healthy Cells magazine has been bringing the latest health information to McLean County since 2006.
It weathered the pandemic by turning to direct mail and is coming back to waiting rooms and every magazine stand in Bloomington-Normal stronger than ever. The magazine still serves its core purposes to
  • provide local healthcare information to the community.
  • provide local professionals a cost-effective vehicle to promote their business.
  • provide an opportunity for local professionals to establish thought leadership for their community.
WHO ARE THE READERS?
Healthy Cells Bloomington-Normal is available for FREE to more than 100,000 McLean County residents each month. With expanded outreach to surrounding counties of DeWitt, Ford, Livingston, Logan, and Woodford. The largest demographic of current readers are women ages 35 and up. Research shows that women make most of the healthcare, household, and purchasing decisions for themselves, their children, their spouses, and their parents. Statistics further show that men typically do not discuss or address their healthcare openly. We hope to provide increased content to further appeal to the male demographic.
WHAT IS HEALTHY CELLS ABOUT?
It covers everything from primary care and surgical medicine to healthy eating and fitness – helping the community members through all stages of their lives and focusing on all the dimensions of health: physical, emotional, social, intellectual, spiritual, environmental, occupational, and financial. All articles are written or submitted by local authors and professionals.
